The finance department is made up of the finance director, city accountants, city secretary. The finance director also has responsibility for the oversight of the transit system and the municipal liquor store. The department is responsible for the oversight of all financial operations to include fund and budget accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and utility billing. This includes coordinator between other government agencies and oversight of all federal, state and other agency grant funding programs.
