Public Works

The public works department is responsible for the public works and park operations.  This includes streets, parks, reforestation, airport, snow and ice removal, street lighting, shade tree disease control, and the central garage. The public works director also has oversight over the public utilities supervisor and operation.  The department works out of several different locations including the city garage and shop, the park department shop and various park facilities.
