Morris Rental Housing Commission

The City Council created the City of Morris Rental Housing Commission in late 2007 with the purpose of improving the quality of rental housing in Morris by creating commonly acceptable solutions to problems that arise among landlords, tenants, and community members.

The Rental Housing Commission views one of the main sources of tension as being a lack of information. To address this, the Commission plans to educate tenants and landlords, provide accessible informative documents, and establish strong concepts about both tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities.
